I’m at Romance University today talking about new possibilities and opportunities. I hope I don’t come off as whining or complaining about traditional publishing. I don’t feel that way. I’m just so glad that I became open to indie publishing. Once I made the decision, it felt so good. Better than good, it felt right.
More exciting stuff. Cattitude is on Smashwords! Thanks to my brilliant friend for formatting it for me. And to my other wonderful friend for answering a thousand questions. (I don’t know if they want me to blab their names, but they are in my acknowledgments.) The formatting for Kindle is different, and Cattitude will probably be on it tomorrow. I hope! All very exciting times! I only slept a few hours last night. Too revved up. There’s a sample download on Smashwords. I hope you’ll check it out.
I’m off now to walk my dogs, which will make them excited. I’ll squeeze in a trip to the grocery store this afternoon. How is your day shaping up?
In print, the first week is crucial. In a month or two, the book might be bumped off the shelves. But I don’t have to worry about that.
